Accessibility

Accessibility statement

We want every candidate and employer to be able to use Apprentice Connect independently.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the public website, the candidate application and the employer and administrator portals.

What we do

  • Keyboard access to every interactive control, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text and interface colours tested for AA contrast in light and dark modes.
  • Semantic headings, labelled form fields and clear, specific error messages.
  • A skip link to main content, and page titles that describe each page.
  • Layouts that work on small screens and when text is enlarged.

Known limitations

Some documents supplied to candidates and employers are PDFs produced during the assessment process. If a PDF is difficult for you to read, contact us and we will provide the content in an alternative format.

Support with your application

If a disability, additional need or access barrier makes any part of the process difficult, contact us before or during your application. We can discuss reasonable adjustments to the assessment and application process.

Reporting a problem

Email hello@apprenticeconnect.ie describing the page and what went wrong. We aim to respond within five working days.
